Psalm 134

Psalm 134 is a hymn of praise.  It is not cited in the options for various liturgies so no text is provided. It exhorts those who serve the Lord to sing his blessings and praises.  It is the second shortest psalm in the book and continues the blessing from Psalm 133.  Called the last of the Ascent psalms, it is sung at the end of an evening of service in the temple by priests who would have spent the night there.  Their reply is similar to the priestly blessing in Numbers 6:24.

CCC: Ps 134:3 287
